Jailbreaking Apple TV
Hopefully one of you good people can help.
I've just jail broke my apple tv2 so I can get xbmc on it.
Everything went fine until installing xbmc. I was told to use nito to install it but when it says installation complete I'm not getting any xbmc logo showing up.
Seriously getting on my tits now and I ain't got a clue what to do.
Anybody had the same problem??

Re: Jailbreaking Apple TV
Download Putty, plug the ATV2 into the router.

Switch it on then find the wiki to install Kodi - another name for XBMC and us the SSH command line options.

Did it Sunday in about 10 minutes.

I used Seas0nPass - http://support.firecore.com/entries/387605-Jailbreaking-101-Seas0nPass - and then installed ATV Flash (black) - http://firecore.com/atvflash-black - before installing XMBC and that worked for me. Recently I've ditched XMBC and just use ATV Flash as that does everything I need.
